  • Plan and coordinate construction activities involving drywall and rainscreen cladding projects.
  • Inspect and review various aspects of the ongoing construction to monitor compliance with building and safety codes.
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions to contractual agreements for construction projects.
  • Confer with supervisory personnel, owners and contractors to discuss and resolve various matters including work procedures and construction problems.

Job Requirements

  • Position requires Master's Degree in Construction Management.
  • Position also requires at least 12 months of experience in the job offered or in the alternative occupation of Cost Estimator.
  • The required experience must include a minimum of 12 months experience in a construction company that handles drywall and rainscreen cladding projects.
  • Must be willing to travel and/or relocate to construction sites throughout the United States.

Summary

The Construction Laborer is responsible for providing wide ranging labor support services to the foreman, supervisors or other designated persons to perform various hands on duties including but not limited to: handling construction materials, sweeping, shoveling, flagging, setting up and tearing down work sites, etc.

Summary

Carpenters work with a variety of tools and measuring devices to complete a wide span of work tasks. They work with light-gauge and load-bearing steel framing for interior partitions, exterior framing, and curtain wall construction. They are also responsible for installing drywall, sheathing, acoustical ceiling tile systems, wood blocking, doors, frames, hardware and assembling various finishes components on a construction project.

Duties and Responsibilities

Summary

Cladding mechanics work with a variety of tools and measuring devices to complete a wide span of work tasks. They work with light-gauge and load-bearing steel framing, mounting brackets, support rails, z-girts, and hat channels to assemble a sub framing system. They are also responsible for installing insulation and flashings within and around the sub framing. Lastly, they install the finish panels (fiber cement, terracotta, metal panel, or glass panel) to the sub framing system and caulk as needed to complete the assembly.

Summary

A Plasterer or EIFS Applicator will install interior or exterior plaster, cement, stucco, ornamental plaster, or similar materials. They install air and vapor barriers as well as a variety of flashing and trim work. They install base coats, mesh, insulation, and finish coats. They may prepare high walls and ceilings that require the use of ladders, scaffolding, or stilts.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Follow directions of manager as to daily tasks and expectations for each project or job site.
  • Use construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks.
  • Ensure regulated and proper headgear, ear plugs, gloves, safety glasses and clothing are worn.
  • Cover surfaces such as windows, doors, or sidewalks to protect from splashing.
  • Apply coats of plaster or stucco to walls, ceilings, or partitions of buildings, using trowels, brushes, or spray guns.
  • Install guide wires on exterior surfaces of buildings to indicate thickness of plaster or stucco and nail wire mesh, lath, or similar materials to the outside surface to hold stucco in place.
  • Apply weatherproof, decorative coverings to exterior surfaces of buildings, such as by troweling or spraying on coats of stucco.
  • Mold or install ornamental plaster pieces, panels, or trim.
  • Apply insulation to building exteriors by installing prefabricated insulation systems over existing walls or by covering the outer wall with insulation board, reinforcing mesh, and a base coat.
  • Create decorative textures in finish coat, using brushes or trowels, sand, pebbles, or stones.
  • Instruct and direct laborers and other construction helpers.
  • Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Clean and clear debris, extra materials, and dirt/dust from jobsites.

Summary

The Project Engineer shall perform all engineering related duties to assist the project manager and foreman to successfully complete the various types of projects performed by the production team. This includes preparation and administration of submittals and RFIs, document control measures for project drawings and specifications, coordinating field forces, subcontractors and material purchases. The Project Engineer must be a good communicator, must have a sound understanding of the workflow and possess a strong technical comprehension of the work.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Schedule the work with customers and coordinate work force.
  • Review work with the project foreman on a daily basis and review daily reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Communicate verbally and in writing to initiate, respond to or document project issues and events.
  • Inspect finished work for quality and final presentation; prepare a punch list if necessary and applicable.
  • Follow up with customer during and after the job ensuring they are satisfied with the work that was performed.
  • Work with field staff to ensure a safe work environment, prevent accidents, and reduce safety concerns.
  • Provide feedback on the performance of field forces and support staff.
  • Perform project start up tasks including submittal preparation, document control measures for project drawings and specifications, and administration measures for vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Track and schedule material orders from vendor to the job site.
  • Compile needed information for field and subcontractor’s work force.
  • Develop and process RFI’s.
  • Review and approve invoices for materials, subcontractors, and labor based upon purchase orders and contracts.
  • Communicate effectively with the client, our workforce, subcontractors and vendors in order to maintain project harmony to ensure timely project delivery.

Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of a construction project. The nature of these projects requires precise timing and a full understanding of all parties involved in order to be successful. This includes oversight and management of procurement, scheduling, contract administration, change orders, subcontractors, material purchases, and closeout. The Project Manager must be a good communicator, must have a sound understanding of the workflow and possess a strong technical comprehension of the work.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with the client, our workforce, subcontractors and vendors in order to maintain project harmony to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Motivate staff and field personnel to perform at their best.
  • Assist in developing estimates, cost proposals, and technical proposals for various projects.
  • Lead a comprehensive preconstruction effort including cost estimates, value engineering management, scheduling, constructability reviews, site logistics planning, cash flow projections and oversee design progress meetings.
  • Lead bid efforts including vendor management, project document controls, estimate creation, and executing all bid requirements including, insurances, permits, bonding requirements, and form of proposal.
  • Develop the project budget, set buyout goals, and establish holds, contingencies, and allowances.
  • Develop scopes of work and bid packages and review with the project team.
  • Receive bids, level, and evaluate against the project schedule, scope of work and contract documents.
  • Perform project start up tasks including: reviewing and understanding our contract, writing subcontract agreements, purchasing major equipment, submitting product data, writing job outline and establishing a project schedule and budget.
  • Develop and maintain various operational reporting throughout construction such as change order logs, submittal logs, RFI logs, meeting minutes, schedule updates, etc.
  • Manage the change order process (pricing, negotiating with the client, billing and updating accounting records).
  • Manage the submittal and RFI processes.
  • Update the project budget on a monthly basis and review with the project team.
  • Prepare and submit owner pay requisitions on a monthly basis.
  • Review and approve invoices for materials, subcontractors, and labor based upon purchase orders and contracts.
  • Review work plan with the project superintendent and foreman on a daily basis.
  • Update and distribute the project schedule on a monthly basis.
  • Inspect finished work for quality and final presentation; prepare a punch list if necessary and applicable.
  • Manage the closeout process (punch list, O&Ms, warranties, as-builts, commissioning, training, and final payment).
  • Work with field staff to ensure a safe work environment, prevent accidents, and reduce safety concerns
  • Provide feedback on the performance of field forces and support staff.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial construction and 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, drawings, and specifications.
  • Extensive knowledge of MS office suites, scheduling software, and project management databases.
  • Possess technical precision and creative design skills.
